It’s always amazing to look at how artists have depicted a special place over time. Villa d’Este is one of those places, which has inspired artists for centuries.

Sometimes artists stood in the same spot, a century apart, and painted the same scene. Trees grew, and died, and were replaced. But it’s still the same magnificent view.
